For hotels and guest houses

Room service ordering,
without the phone call.

A QR code in every room lets guests browse and order from their own phone at any hour. The order lands on your kitchen screen with the room number already attached — reception never becomes the bottleneck, and nothing gets lost in the relay. Built for Nigerian hotels and guest houses.

Free to build — you only pay when you publish.

The Problem With The Phone Call

01

The line is busy

A guest wants food at 11pm. They ring reception, nobody picks up, and they decide not to bother. That order never existed and you never knew about it.

02

The order gets relayed

Reception takes it down, walks it to the kitchen, or shouts it through. Something gets missed — the protein, the room number, the second drink.

03

Nothing is written down

At the end of the night there is no record of what was ordered, from which room, at what time. Reconciling it is guesswork.

How It Works In A Hotel

A QR code goes in each room — on the desk, the bedside table, or the compendium. Everything after that happens without a phone call.

01

The guest scans in their room

Your full menu opens on their phone in a second. No app to download, no wifi password to ask for, no account to create. They browse in bed at 11pm the same way they would at 1pm.

02

They enter their room number

Room number is required before an order can be placed, so every ticket arrives already tagged. No relay, no asking twice, no order for the wrong floor.

03

It lands on the kitchen screen

The order appears on Kitchen View with an alert and the room number attached. Your kitchen sees it directly — reception never becomes the bottleneck.

One Menu, Every Outlet

A hotel is not one venue. Guest rooms, the restaurant, the pool bar and the lounge each need a menu, and they are usually different menus on different bits of paper.

01

Rooms

Room service ordering, tagged by room number, at any hour without waking reception.

02

Restaurant & poolside

The same menu on the tables and at the bar, tagged by table instead of room. One system, one kitchen screen.

03

Every order in one place

Rooms, tables and bar all land on the same screen and the same daily totals, so you can finally see which outlet actually earns.

Questions Owners Ask

Do guests need to download anything?
No. They point their phone camera at the QR code in the room and the menu opens in their browser. Nothing to install, no account, no wifi password needed beyond your normal guest wifi.
How does the kitchen know which room ordered?
The guest enters their room number before they can place the order, so every ticket arrives with the room already attached. It shows on the kitchen screen and on the printed docket.
Can we use it for the restaurant and pool bar too?
Yes, and most hotels do. The same menu works on the tables and at the bar — guests enter a table name instead of a room number. Everything arrives on the same kitchen screen.
What happens when the kitchen closes?
Mark dishes sold out from your phone in one tap, or take a whole section down. The guest menu updates straight away, so nobody orders a kitchen item at 2am that nobody can cook.
Does this replace our PMS or booking system?
No. Smart Menu handles ordering only. If you also want online bookings and automated guest management, that is our other product, Smart Stay.
What does it cost?
Plans start at ₦55,000 per month with no setup fee on the self-serve plans, billed monthly through Paystack. You can cancel at any time.
